VE Day
On Friday 8th May we will celebrate VE Day. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the day World War Two came to an end in Europe. As part of your Home Learning this week, take the opportunity to join in with the celebrations at home and spend time preparing for it, whilst learning more about this great historical event.

The National Army Museum
The National Museum of the Royal Navy, the National Army Museum and the Royal Air Force Museum are joining forces to host a free online festival, bringing to life the stories of those who helped deliver Victory in Europe.

This was the home of British World War Two codebreaking. It is now a heritage attraction and museum. Bletchley Park will be marking the day online with a digital ‘Nation’s Toast’ at 3pm, and a special recording of a VE Day speech by ‘Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill’.
